Where: The Kansas City Chess Club 4420 NE Chouteau Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64117 Directions
Sections: Elite (Top 6 FIDE rated Players) and Open Sections. Sections may be combined based on attendance.
Registration: Online Registration Closes Thursday May 18th, 2023. NO Onsite Registration
Rounds & Time Control: Saturday 10AM, 2:30PM, 7PM Sunday 10AM, 2:30PM Time Control: G/90 + 30 INC.
Entry Fee: $45 Online Registration by May 18th.
Memberships: USCF Membership is Required. ALL equipment provided.
Tournament Director: Bill Broich
Byes: One 1/2-point bye per player. Last round bye must be requested prior to the start of the 1stround to receive a 1/2-point. Byes for all other rounds must be requested 1hour prior to the start of the round. USCF: ratings used for pairing rank. FIDE: Swiss pairing rules and floor rulings. USCF May supplement used for ratings. FIDE rule 11.3 enforced with regards to electronic devices. Players must turn in a scoresheet for every game. NO ELECTRONIC SCORESHEETS. No spectators are allowed in the playing hall 10 minutes after the start of the round. Players are allowed to spectate after their game is over. Spectator rules are subject to change.
